Flipped Out

Remember that contest I won, on THIS post?

Well, remember how I won a bunch of coupons to give away as a 'reward' to my bloggy friends?
Well, remember that I haven't done that yet???

So, here it is:

If you'd like to win ice cream coupons for a pint of Ben and Jerry's Flipped Out Ice Cream, here's the simple rules to win.

I will reward one coupon to each person who comments on a time when they TOTALLY FLIPPED OUT. A freak out, a day spent on a trampoline, a tumble down some stairs-- ANYTHING counts. If you think you 'flipped out', leave a comment with the story, and you will be one of the winners!

Yep. that's because I have no imagination to make this contest any tougher!

And, lastly, you have to leave an email address for me in order to get the coupon to ya (the company sends them to you personally). You can email me your email personally *(debbirn2b@hotmail.com) or you can put it in the comments for us all to hound your inbox with.

***EDIT: These coupons are only valid in the USA. If you're a Canadian reader, and you want one, that's fine. There's lots of readers I know who travel to the US often. But, I didn't want to mislead us Canadians... They're only valid in the USA.

And one of these days I'll post something good. I'm stretched to the max right now with the wedding and moving and money and selling and coping and planning and cleaning and packing and...and.. and..

Cute and Hugs go together like Candy and Fridays

Wow! Send out a little love, get a little love back! How fun.

I got awarded these TWO awards yesterday. Thanks to Sassy Britches, I add to my wall. :) The 'CUTE'S BLOGGER AWARD'. This one states that, in order to accept, I have to tell you ten cute things about me. Uh. Yah. Finding more than three could be tough! Then, I pass it to 10 other cute people. Are we talking cute-looking, or cute blogs? Because, and I'm not saying this about any of YOU guys (clearly), but when I've bloghopped, there are some BUTT UGLY rather non-pretty bloggers out there. This one, The Hugs Award. Who doesn't need a hug? So, I need to spread the lovin' to 10 other bloggers.

Because BOTH require 10 bloggers, I'm just giving love and hugs to 10 of my cute friends! ;) I have so many cute friends. Like attracts like, right? ;P

Now for the yucky part; what makes me cute? Well, this would be WAY easier if, like Sassy, I had someone who wrote this part for me.

  1. When I got excited as a child, I used to 'sniff' really hard, put my hands to my face, and ...how do I explain it... drum my fingers quickly against my nose. My family made so much fun of me. I've stopped it, for the most part, but once in a while I find myself putting my hands to my face in the same way. Thankfully, I usually catch myself before I completely embarrass myself!

  2. The way I get all freaked out and laugh and cry at the same time when I'm scared. Like, when crabs need killing for dinner. Or when we catch a mighty mouse in a garbage can, and Chris, thinking it's something I'd WANT to 'check out'... tilts the garbage can just enough that mousie jumps out and runs right over my bare feet!!! I will never forgive him for that one. It coulda DIED in the garbage can, but nooooo- that's inhumane. Whatever.

  3. I fold underwear. Into little packages. And always will. Is it cute to you? maybe not-- but the pantie packages themselves are cute.... Want a tutorial??? Allow me to share-- I love it, and it helps to have more room in the drawers drawer. By the way- I hate the word drawers. It's a dumb English word that makes me feel like an illiterate when I say it.

  4. If I want to learn how to play a song on the piano, or guitar, I have to hear it done first. I mean, I can read music, but something about hearing it helps me.

  5. I harmonize to songs on the radio, on the TV, or even to twinkle twinkle. Harmonizing makes me happy. I'm so thankful for that talent that my mother instilled in me. Singing with my siblings so much while growing up helped.

  6. If you're a male, and you want to make me complete, hug me and kiss my forehead. Slowly. Just a simple forehead kiss makes me feel like a child again, and I feel secure and truly loved. A kiss like that fixes my sadness, my anxiety, my sickness... anything. I think it's the cutest kiss one can give.

  7. I pull faces a lot when I'm dancing. Which is funny, because I watched my little brother dancing recently at a drum concert he was part of-- and realized, I pull the same faces as him sometimes. And I realized how funny it looks. And how much more I love him for it! lol

  8. SERIOUSLY? You want me to think of three other 'cute' things about me? uh... yah, I'm spent. I have no idea. Cute about me??? My ears. They're like monkey ears, they always have been, and I've been teased about them a lot. But they've got character. And thankfully, they're not a dominant gene, so my kids don't have to suffer the same childhood ridicule.

  9. cute about me? mmmm.... I'm a travelling entertainment for kids. I swear, kids (and kids at heart) are truly entertained with the things I can do with my tongue. It passes time. ;) Kinda a travelling freak show, but yah, potato potahto. I'm calling it cute.

  10. I search for compliments. Not that I think that's cute. So, YOU can tell me what number 10 is. Cuz I have no idea! lol And I need to get stuff done. Like change bums. Which is so NOT cute, it kinda took away from my 'thinking cute things' mojo.

And for the ten cute bloggers:
1) Carla= my walking bud, haven't seen her in forever, and she's super cute. She's had medical issues, so a hug is always a good thing to spread.
2) Katerina= Yep, Kat is cute. And has/had mono. So, giving hugs like this is better than IRL because I can keep my distance!
3) Sheridan = she's WAY Cute. check out her smile! I just hug her cuz I wanna squish her. We're pseudo related too! ;)
4)Starting Over @ 24= even with the blue line, he's way cute. And, apparently, he says he's short, so he's even cuter.
5)Pooba= really cute, even the name of her blog is cute-- I love he Flinstone reference. Remember the grand pooba? On top of a cute name, she acts goofy with her sisters the way I do. oh, and has a hot dad-- really, what else is there to love? lol
6)Andy= if you think syphilis and inmates are cute (and yes, sometimes both together), you'll totally agree that Andy's got cute down pat! Expletives are cute, right?
7) Katy = So fun and cute. I'm new to her following, but am loving it.
8) BobbiJo = her blog is cute, she's way cute, and seriously, her little girls are DANG cute! Nothing BobbiJo does is NOT cute. She radiates cute.
9) Cute Things = uh. It says it's cute RIGHT in its name! Seriously. falling asleep AND being cute-- doesn't get any cuter.
10)Ryan Ashley Scott = Now, given, the hug award was already given to you, but still. You deserve more hugs. Cuz you're awesome.

Kreativity is Kool

I was given this award yesterday from Kelly. She's a doll, inside and out-- if you haven't yet, check her out! Thanks Beauty!

Here are the rules:
1~ I share with you seven things that I love
2~I nominate seven other bloggers for the honour

So:

  1. Sisters. Honestly. They make the top of my list. The ones in my family who make me laugh, who support me...who 'get' me. And the Sisters in my church congregation. The ladies who also support me, who help me when my kids are acting out and I'm stuck at the front leading the music, and who bring meals and help in hard times. But, moreso for the sisters who are there even when it's a GOOD time. I love them. And my daughters-- watching them play as sisters and love each other.. my heart melts. Sisters can't be beat. (oh, and definitely my psuedo sisters, the Ya Yas! ;) )
  2. Sunshine. I Am glad that although I live somewhere cold, the sun still shines. Vancouver is beautiful and warmer than Calgary, but the sun shines here more, and even when it's slushy out like today.
  3. Berries. Seriously. love them. frozen. in yogurt. fresh. mixed. in fruit pooh. yum yum yum
  4. music. I was at a drum/percussion concert this weekend, and I was just fascinated the whole time. It was super cool and entertaining. And I miss my Ipod terribly.
  5. technology. I can keep in touch with friends so much easier. And telephones and computers are handy when you need a pick me up.
  6. Pictures. I'm not a great photographer, but I like having something that catches the moment.
  7. Honesty. I can't say enough about that. Honesty with family, honesty in relationships, honesty with yourself. I have dealt with all three within the past few hours, and can attest to how much HONESTY can make or break a good mood.

The people I present this award to are people you may not have visited yet:

Adlibby- entertaining. And, if you act now, you can be her 100th follower if you love her like I do.
Better Than We Deserve- She makes me feel good about my parenting. It's not just me who hates science fairs ;)
Snarky A - in the midst of adversity, she's funny and loving. A great lady!
Cat- She went a month not spending anything 'extra', and saved nearly 500$! Worth trying!
Michelle- Some incredible photography skills. She is darling.
Cate- The 'owner' of Six Word Saturdays. There's always something fun to read.
Aleesha- Raw diet, yoga lifestyle. I'm loving watching her 'release' weight and feeling healthier.

I didn't know I had "Employees"

This is my blog in a photo. I think it's pretty cool. And I like making sentences with the words in there. Like, "totally want things", or "needed peace", or "need support", or "maybe find better". ha. See what you come up with.

*and thanks publicly to HolyMotherOfGod for teaching me how to paste this from the Wordle website! You rock.

This Was the Year.

It's the last day of December. And, in previous years, I've done this meme and it's always fun to look back on. After SUCH a crazy year, these answers may prove difficult to answer, or blatantly obviously easy. Okay, here goes:

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
drank alcohol

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions. Every day should be a new attempt at being better, not every year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
At my age, EVERYONE is giving birth. But my sister CC did, to baby Tiny. This is her with her cousin R-guy. Cutest babes of the year!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
luckily, no. Not that I recall.

5. What countries did you visit?
Canada and the US.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A healthy, secure relationship

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 16th- found out about EF. June 1st- Chris moved out.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
living on my 'own', losing weight, and emotionally dealing.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I'm not sure, but I'm sure SOMEONE will let me know! ;)

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
nothing big, no. Emotional injury was about it.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The girls. The sisters. The Twins. .... b@@bapalooza.12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Wow. A HUGE list of people. Friends who lost weight and maintained healthy lifestyles; my sisters and brothers for MANY various things I'm proud of them for; my parents, their renovations, the million things they do for others; Chris' changes, his outlook; many friends having babies, changing relationships, finding themselves...

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and/or depressed?
Chris'. EFs. Some spouses of my girlfriends. Beau's.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Uh... I had money? Probably to food! These dayhome kids eat a LOT! And mortgage. On frivilous things? Clothes-- I went through many sizes this year, so I had to revamp ALL my clothes- from pants and dresses to bras and panties.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

The Family Reunion in August.
(Awww. brotherly love. Slightly funny, slightly cute, and VERY disturbing!)

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
TOO MANY! I have almost a song-a-day kind of life. In general, "I Wish" -Jo Dee Messina, and "Stay"- Sugarland

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner, although, it's almost the same
iii. richer or poorer? richer in ALL ways

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
counselling, working out, playing with my kids, travelling, eating healthier

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
gossiping, Facebook

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At home. In Lethbridge with family for dinner. (this has already happened, so it's kinda tough to answer for NEXT year!)

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
Yes. Over again.

23. How many one-night stands?
HAHAHAH. Seriously!? This questions makes me laugh every year. Oooh, let's answer this in a way to get people all worried...
uh...
"I never slept with anyone when Chris wasn't there!". hahaha.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Prison Break. the ONLY show I dont' answer the phone in the middle of.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No. I don't 'hate' people.

26. What was the best book you read?
The Five Love Languages

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Lady Ga Ga, I guess. I love LOTS of artists, but most of them aren't new. Although Uncle Kannie introduced me to lots of good musicians while he lived here.

28. What did you want and get?
Personal clarity to find happiness, a new boyfriend, a happy relationship

29. What did you want and not get?
Personal ownership of personal decisions

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Out of this list, I haven't seen many films of 2008. FAVOURITE?? Sex and the City, the movie, I guess. Other than that, in no particular order, I saw: Baby Mama, Made of Honour, Drillbit Taylor, Fool's Gold, The Lazarus Project, Kung Fu Panda, Tinkerbell, WallE, 21, What Happens in Vegas, Madagascar 2, Ironman, Mamma Mia, The Dark Knight, and 27 Dresses.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I trick-or-treated with the kids. Chris took me to Banff for the weekend. I turned 28.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
  • I'd say "no affair", but that was in 2007 (mostly), and secondly, I think that the inner things that came out of that storm have been INCREDIBLY satisfying. I would have that pain again to have this joy and enlightenment.
  • Less care for what others think about me.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Evolving. I went from frumpy wife to thinner wife to thinner single-girl.

34. What kept you sane?
walks with the girls when I needed them the most!

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
i don't like celebrity/public figures like that. I guess Wentworth Miller... but not really.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The voting in the USA between Obama and McCain. The Coalition here in Canada.

37. Who did you miss?
Chris. Family.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I met lots of people this year, but lots of them I only know through computers, so we haven't really "met". People because of the TV show, mostly.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
When you listen to what your heart says, you may stand alone, but you'll live with no regrets.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
I am not a child now.
I can take care of myself.
I mustn't let them down now-
Mustn't let them see me cry.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm too tired to listen.
I'm too old to believe
All these childish stories.
There is no such thing as faith,
And trust,
And pixie dust.
I try,
But its too hard to believe.
I try,
But I can't see what you see.
I try.
I try.
I try.
My whole world is changing,
I don't know where to turn.
I can't leave you Baby,
But I cant stay and watch the sitting burn;
Watch it burn.
'Cause I try,
But its so hard to believe!
I try,
But I can't see where you see.
I try.
I try.
I try.

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
Pete's Dragon, pretty much any Disney movie, pretty much any DORA movie

02. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in a theater.
Blair Witch Project, The Sixth Sense

03. Name an actor who would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Gene Kelly, Will Smith, Robin Williams (for their acting abilities, not their looks. Cummon, people, I have MUCH better taste in men than Robin Williams! lol)

04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to see a movie.
Nicholas Cage, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reaves (looks or not, they ALWAYS play the same character in all their roles, and they annoy me)

05. Name a movie that you can quote from.
Princess Bride, Disney movies/ Pixar movies

06. Name a movie musical that you know all the lyrics to all the songs.
Grease, Chicago, The Sound of Music, Hairspray, Dreamgirls

07. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
See above. Although, I haven't seen Mamma Mia yet, and I'm sure I'd add that one to the list too!

08. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Patch Adams, Pay It Forward, Dude Where's My Car

09. Name a movie that you own that may surprise people.
Deuce Bigalo, Male Gigalo

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
Jaime Fox ( technically, he went from acting to music, but it was still impressive)
NOT Jennifer Lopez. Not even close!

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in?
Yes, a few. Although I don't remember which ones.

12. Ever made out in a movie?
See above answer. (haha, totally totally kidding.) If I made out in a movie, it was a rented movie, not in a theatre. That's just a waste of money!!

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't gotten around to it.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith

14. Ever walked out of a movie?
No.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.

abso-freeking-lutely!! with butter. I actually prefer microwave.

Hardly ever. Three times a year, max.

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Madagascar 2.

19. What is your favourite/preferred genre of movie?
I really enjoy most anything, other than sci-fi. Batman/comic book heros isn't really my thing either. I like action, scary, drama, chick-flick, even

20. What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Snow White.

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
Borat, Lord of the Rings

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Moulin Rouge. Trust me, you need to see it a few times to really learn to enjoy it. The beginning is enough to turn people off.

23. What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
The House On Haunted Hill. I am really disturbed by that one. NOT to be confused with "The Haunting", which came out about the same time. The Haunting, I liked.

24. What is the funniest movie you've ever seen?
Hm, nothing comes to mind. Lots of movies are funny, but none left that lasting impression, I guess.

25. EXTRA CREDIT - Favourite Christmas Movie?
Points to you guys who know it-- I've only mentioned it, like TEN times on this blog!!

the 25 days of Christmas?

I got 'tagged'. man, these tags are crazy this time of year. Like we all don't have enough to do! I mean, why aren't you taggers out Christmas shopping and helping the economy?! Why aren't you out carolling (in the +9 degrees we have today, I'll admit that'd look fairly odd). So, in that case, why aren't you petitioning against Global Warming?! (Do it and die!- I'm all for living in a hotter Canada. Although, Canada's pretty hawt, if you know what I mean. Kinda like Phat versus Fat. And Canada's not fat. Nope, we're hawt and phat.)

It's one month to Christmas.

I get as many tags as I see Christmas commercials for Canadian Tire products. Although, I DO miss those "give like Santa, save like Scrooge" commercials. That Scrooge guy was cool. Kinda like Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod commercials! BODY BREAK! Hal's pedophile-stache is something else, but Joanne's hair takes the cake!

Okay, to the meat and potatoes of the post and enough of my inner thoughts.
(cake? Meat and Potatoes? You'd think I haven't eaten anything in years! lol)

1. Wrapping Paper of gift bags? If I don't have a giftbag that fits, wrapping paper. I LIKE to make the gifts under the tree all matching, but that's not very cost-friendly. So, the gifts *I* give to the kids are all matching, and the others (gramma/family/friends) end up in the back.

2.Real Tree or Artificial? This year, both. For the past 7 years, we've had fake. But, for the FIRST time in my own 'tree' life (not counting living with my parents), I bought real. It's pretty. I just hope I don't kill it.

3. When do you put up the tree? Well, this year it was up later, because I needed to wait as long as possible so as not to kill the real tree. But it's ALWAYS up (real or not) by the last week of November in time for the cookie party.

4. When do you take the tree down? When I want to. Usually after New Year's. Once the kids are back in school.

5. Do you like eggnog? Uh, is the Pope Catholic?!!! YAH I DO!! Love love love. I buy it in OCTOBER, as soon as I see it on the shelves! mmmm. And I dilute the 'light' eggnog (by the way, light eggnog is an oxymoron!) with skim milk, 1/2 and 1/2.

6. Favourite Gift received? Wow. This is tough. I really like my watch that either Santa or Chris got me. Can't remember which one it was. I know I thanked the right person, though.

7. Hardest person to buy for? hmmm. No one in particular. But, seeing as *I* am the one who thinks of the gifts (and purchases) for Chris' side of the family, I'd go with that one. They're always grateful, but I never have any good ideas.

8. Easiest person to buy for? My parents. There's usually 8 of us brainstorming, so in general, I only have to think of a gift every 8 years! lol

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, three of them. One is breakable and large (Thanks to my sis, Lola, who gave that to me one Christmas), one is from my mother that the kids play with, and one we received last year as a '12-days of Christmas' type of thing that I think I'm going to Pay It Forward with. It's really cute.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail- all the way. Although, this year I may not do any. I don't know what to say in them!! LOL

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Barbie bedspread and sheets. I was 12. It was social suicide! I didn't give Santa any ideas, but that was NOT on the option list! lol

12. Favourite Christmas Movie? Oh, I've answered that one before on this blog: Elf. I also like One Magical Christmas.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? December 26th- for the next year. (stole Lola's answers, because, *go figure* we were brought up with a mother who does the same thing. Which may sound crazy to some. But HER mother buys gifts YEARS in advance! It's a genetic abnormality we all have! LOL)

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas Present? Yah, I think. Nothing too big, that I recall.

15. Favourite Thing to eat at Christmas? Stuffing. Egg nog. Guy Lian chocolates.

16. Lights on the tree? Why is this a question?? Doesn't EVERYONE put lights on a tree?

17. Favourite Christmas song? Uh, I have to pick just one? Seriously? Nope, can't do it. Pick a genre and I may have a shorter list of top 5s!

18. Travel or stay home for Christmas? Stay home. Although I like the company when we travel, as it's usually to be with family.

19. Can you name all of Santa's Reindeer? Yes. Whoever can't had a horrible childhood!

20. Angel or Star atop the tree? Both. Angel on the kids' tree, Star on the 'adult' tree.

21. Open presents Christmas Eve or morning? After stockings, after breakfast on Christmas morning... ONE AT A TIME, in youngest to eldest order.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? nothing. I enjoy the crowded stores, the commercials, the songs,...
OH! I know! Being told "happy holidays" and having school "season concerts". WHAT THE FREAK is a "Season Concert"?! It's CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

23. favourite Ornament theme or colour? Colour this year is green and gold. Previous years was 'jewel tones'.

24. Favourite Christmas cartoon? Grinch

25. When do you start listening to Christmas music? USUALLY mid November, although, I've been known to listen to stuff in the middle of the summer if I want, too.

Me? A Bookworm?!

I have been given my first award from Lyn at Adventures of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. And no, it's not another request from my best friend F.B.!!

Standing here, award in my hand, a tear on my cheek. I'd like to thank the little people. My family for always putting up with me. My mother. And Kazim from Mac's up the street who always tells me in a sultry, East Indian accent (think Apu on Simpsons) that he wants me and that I should leave my husband. And then tries to hug me. And the other men in the store are jealous of my vivacious attention to Mr. Kazim and all confess their dying adoration to my genuine ability to practically light up a room upon entering it. Mac's has never had it so good. ;P

Right.

ANYWAYS!!!
Here are the rules for accepting the Bookworm Award:

Pass it on to five other bloggers, and tell them to open the nearest book to page 56. Write out the fifth sentence on that page, and also the next two to five sentences...The CLOSEST BOOK, NOT YOUR FAVORITE, OR MOST INTELLECTUAL!!

Okay, slightly odd. Now, I am NOT looking for brownie points from anyone who feels this DESERVES brownie points, but the nearest book, no word of a lie, is The Book Of Mormon. Again, don't expect it to ever happen again-- my scriptures are NEVER near the computer (they're in the laundry room, truth be told-- hey now, I never said I was good at reading them) but these are Bear's scriptures.

Okay, everyone open your scriptures to page 56. What? You don't have them beside your computer too!??!! lol ohhhh, you don't OWN a Book Of Mormon. No worries, I'll get you one! ;P

Seriously, I'm getting to the point. Okay.
Page 56: 2 Nephi 1:27
"And it must needs be that the power of God must be with him, even unto his commanding you that ye must obey. But behold, it was no he, but it was the Spirit of the Lord which was with him, which opened his mouth to utterance that he could not shut it."

I now pass the torch to five others:
Monkey Claire
DJo D'jour
Carla
Claudine
and Holy Mother Of God

Enjoy your awards! Don't say I never give you anything!

All About "I"

I stole a LOT of the answers from Cloe, but that's because she's awesome, she's also going through a divorce, and she and I are alike in many ways.

I am: finding myself and loving every minute of it

I think: "honesty is the best policy", "hindsight is 20/20 " and "a friend in need is a friend indeed" are all very true cliches to live by.

I know: I don't know everything, I can't see what lies ahead, and I won't be given more than I can handle

I want: to love and be loved

I dislike: coffee-flavoured ANYTHING!

I miss: my family

I fear: mighties, regret and being unprepared

I feel: liberated, rejuvenated, and excogitated

I hear: Treehouse TV, children playing

I smell: Flowers given to me.. and possibly the smell of a dirty bum. Not quite a winning combination.

I crave: bad foods, answers and man-hugs

I cry: when I am worried, when I'm hurt, and when I watch sappy movies

I usually: wear jeans and a T-shirt

I search: for my bank card more often than I'd like to admit

I wonder: where I'll be and, more interestingly, WHO I'll be in 5 years

I regret: few things in life, as mistakes have made me stronger and I've learned from them. But I regret hurting people in the process.

I love: my family, the season of fall, and eating yummy dinners

I care: about my friends' happiness.

I always: feel better about my life after I exercise

I worry: about pleasing my parents

I am not: racist

I remember: a lot of 'heart pictures', but not usually the entire surrounding events

I believe: everything is part of a plan

I dance: when a song makes me move, and pretty much, whenever I can!

I sing: all the time!!!! Usually church songs.

I don't always: give service like I think I should

I argue: usually only in defence if I feel me, or someone else, is wronged

I write: to release emotions, to figure myself out and to preserve history for my posterity

I win: cutest kids award!

I lose: my glasses, my temper and my inhibitions---- just depends on what time of the day you catch me at.

I wish: I had this belly!!!

I listen: to what's usually NOT said

I don't understand: math, religious persecution and myself well enough

I can usually be found: by calling me at home during the day, through email or facebook

I'm scared: of mighties

I need: stability, love, happiness and good friends

I forget: the important things in life when I'm worried too much on the unimportant things

I am happy: ANYTIME I'm with family!

And last but not least-- I have only 2 more hours of work today, and then I am packing the van up and taking the kids to Chris' family's home for Thanksgiving. I think we've spent 7 of 8 thanksgivings with them since we've been a family, so it is nice to keep that tradition. I haven't seen my in-laws for a year, too! Which is CRAZY, as I usually see them a few times a year! So, if I don't blog, you know why---

I'm taking a much needed vacation from dayhoming, a much needed vacation from chores around the house and a much needed vacation from computers and blogs.

Be nice to each other while I'm gone! ;)
