Six Word Saturday, and, By The Way, Time Flies When You Really Could Care Less About What Day It Is!

Six Word Saturday:

I Trip Up Stairs Too Often!

And, for those paying close attention:

The Court renders a Judgement of Divorce between (Chris and I)...to be effective on the 31st day after the day that this Judgement is rendered, unless this Judgement is appealed before that 31st day.

The spouses are not free to remarry until this Judgement takes effect, at which time either spouse may obtain a certificate of divorce from this court.

THAT, my friends, would be today. It is officially over.

Wow, day 31. Big day for sure!

Tripping UP stairs is a special talent. One I also seem to possess somehow. Thanks for playing!

Ooops, I just "tripped up" into your blog this A.M...I like the six word saturday theme...perhaps I'll give it a try. I won't comment on your judgement because I'm new and don't want to say anything inappropriate. Enjoy your weekend.

I dont want to make light, but what is the etiquette? Does one give gifts?

i fall up the stairs, down the stairs, near the stairs or no where near the stairs. i am just a clutz.

interesting that Canada Law considers the divorce official only 31 days After the court has already ruled in favor of the divorce. but you did it... you jumped through all the hoops... [sigh]... Happy D-Day!

this rambling comment is so our unenlightened guests can learn a little today...canada law is not so cut and dry that it allows people to divorce in 31 days.

there have to be specific circumstance for that clause to be effective.

we aren't so non-commital up here amidst the tundra and igloos that there is not a lot more to it...but i digress.

sorry, but as the know-it-all of the group...and having dealt with canadian legalities regarding divorce, everyone gets my two cents. stop reading HERE if you don't want to listen to the verbal vomiting about to commence.

personally, it took me 2.5 years from separation to divorce.

when the day finally came 31 days after the judgment was rendered? it was bittersweet.

i spent 12 years of my life with this man and created three beautiful human beings together with him. i was comforted by the knowledge that it was the right decision for everyone.

but yet i cried. (seriously, sometimes i do)

debbi, i apologize for the "soap boxing" on your comments.

i am happy and sad for you, just like i was and still am for me and my family.

you're a tough bitch.

be happy. that is what your kids will remember.

andy

p.s. i fell up the jail stairs going back to work after a stop for coffee. i sprained my wrist. but i saved the coffee. priorities.

p.p.s. love ya:)
