Wednesday Ws and Word Verification Wednesday

Who: All you 'lurkers' out there
What: are being "called out"
Where: here on the blog during Word Verification Wednesday
When: Today
Why: My sister recently told me of a meeting with a friend of hers. She said that her friend was over at her house, and saw a picture of me. "Who is that?!" When my sister said who it was, the friend got excited, and confessed that she 'stalks' my blog (Hi Tan!) and sometimes checks a few times a day. I was "blogmarted". Then they talked about stuff IN this blog-- namely, Will.
"And Will-- I think he lives here!"
Sister smiles, "yes, I think maybe he does."
That's when Tan realized that my sister has MET Will, and yes, Will lives in their area. Funtimes. So, Will got blogmarted too.

So, in light of this conversation, I'd like to call all you lurkers out. Just say hi. Leave a name or don't-- doesn't matter. We're just happy you're here. And by we, obviously I mean me. It's easy today-- play Word Verification Wednesday, and join me! :) I was checking the stats with Will last night, and figured out that there was 108 DIFFERENT people who checked the blog yesterday-- let's see who you are. Where you're from! What you think. Join the party!

It's Jillybean's Word Verification Wednesday. Play along below!

"godome"

What someone religious says when they're really frustrated with God... as in:

"You're not the God of me!"
This is immediately followed by feelings of extreme guilt and childishness...

(Did anyone else used to say this with "boss" in there???)

That's funny. I've run into a few people I know who say, "Hey, I read your blog!" It's weird to think people are stalking when you normally just figure the only ones reading are the ones leaving comments.

"unceld" - not holding something that's cold...? maybe? that's a toughie.

Seems kinda obvious, no? I think it's the French spelling of "dirty".

My word is "messest"...and that is the definition of my house. It is the "messiest" without the "i". (get it? "I" am not involved in the mess!) haha

I hope you find your new lurkers! You have quite a foloowing going on there!

Ahhh. Why does everyone use the terms "stalker" or "lurker." I consider myself a blog"hopper," it sounds far less creepy! For the record, I check your blog only ONCE a day! ;)

I DO live down the street from your sister, and it was funny to put those peices together the other day.

I came across your blog weeks ago and I have enjoyed it. It is FUN, always OPTIMISTIC and so so REAL!

blog"hopper" (and in my defense, I KNOW i'm not the ONLY one out there!)

maties-- the term a male uses to claim "his" ties. This male would normally be the type to use a lot of slang terms. He may be caught saying things like "Girrrll, dun be judgin on maties" (which would translate into :Girl, don't be judging on MY ties). Lame definition...eek..
Come check my blog out sometime, I love reading yours!

okay, i'll admit it.
I came to your blog off of Beccas. Dare I say your life is a bit addictive? I saw you in real life once when you dropped your child off in nursery as our ward was leaving (i was midnapores nursery leader) but i had just read on your blog about you having your boobapalooza and was a bit distracted trying to discretely check you out to say hello before you left.
how's that for bad?!!!

Okay, okay, I'm a stalker, too. We know lots of the same people and I think we might have been in the Cranston ward together for a couple of months before it split the first time. Anyway, I watched you on X-weighted and am lovin your blog!

Im totally a lurker! I love your blog! You put into words a lot of thing I think but hve NO idea how to express.

motherofangels said...

I am a lurker, but not a stalker... I PROMISE! Didn't know you before the new ward, but been praying for you! I've been through it, too!

Your friend Cheryl from Ontario got me addicted. Cheryl mentioned a friend she has who was on X-weighted which I watch faithfully and she showed me your blog to see if I would recognize you and needless to say, I did. Now I 'blog hop' once or twice a week. I agree blog stalk/lurking sounds creepy.
